Bangalore Airport, which is also known as HAL Bangalore Airport or just HAL Airport is a hub for business flights and for general aviation. It is also a testing facility by the Indian Armed Forces and is used by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. The airport was used for the city’s domestic and international airport until 2008, before the Bengaluru International Airport replaced it. Since this airport is situated right in the heart of the city, it is preferred for general and business aviation.
